Text field is a form element, so here we will put all of the form <form> </form>.

The text field showed in the previous tutorial. Very simple

<input type="text" name="address"/>

The type and name attribute are in the previous tutorial. Here’s a discussion of some more important attributes.

** Just type = “password” to create password fields.

The maxlength attribute can be specified as the maximum number of characters that can be entered in the field. Such as:

<input type="text" name="address" maxlength="50"/>

You can not type more than 50 characters.

value and size

The value of the value will be shown in the field. It takes the form of the edit form. And the length of the size of the size can be fixed. Such as

<input type="text" name="address" maxlength="50" value="Address is here" size="30"/>

There is a new attribute named Placeholder in HTML 5 which lets you write something about what kind of data you want to enter in the field, so it will be helpful to understand the user.

<input type="text" name="address" maxlength="50" placeholder="Type Address" size="30"/>

Start typing as well as the “Type Address” text disappears.

Required, disabled, readonly These are discussed in the next tutorial, here’s the same thing.
